I traveled to Northern Ireland in October of 2001. The landscape is phenomenal. The further north you go, the prettier it gets. I had never heard of the Giant's Causeway before going to Northern Ireland. I am certainly grateful for the opportunity to have seen this natural wonder with my own eyes.
The Giant's Causeway stretches for acres along the shore. There are columns of polygons, as you can see in the above pictures, that stagger in height. They are stacked closely together. This is not man made. Truly intriguing and unique.
